Light Bulbs
MAKE SURE
- Use LED bulbs only.
- Make sure your LED bulb is 2700 K. Unless you deliberately want something funky.
PLEASE NOTE
- Is your power source or plug dimmable? Make sure you use a dimmable LED bulb. Note that the dimmer must be a LED dimmer to function properly with a LED light.
- The size of the light fitting. ikitree lamps use E14.
- The overall length of the bulb.
- The wattage of the bulb. This depends entirely on the context and use of the lamp. Roughly one can say that for our lamps (all LED!):
- Weak light: below 2W
- Normal light: 2W
- Strong light: between 2W and 4W
Use a clear bulb for pendant lamps and the Creative Director desk lamp.
PENDANT LAMPS AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
- For our pendant lamps and the Creative Director, we advise a clear bulb.
- If you often look into the lamp and you want to avoid being blinded by the light, you may choose to use a reflector bulb. However, this will dramatically change the appearance of the lamp, this may or may not be to your liking.
- The lamps we currently produce are not designed to work with spotlights.

ART DIRECTOR FLOOR LAMP AND PENMAN TABLE LAMP
- For the Art Director floor lamp and the Penman table lamp, we advise an opal bulb.
- If the bulb needs to be dimmable, a clear bulb is fine too.
- The lamps we currently produce are not designed to work with spotlights.

Shipping
We currently ship to all EU countries. All shipping costs are included.
Purchased items will normally be shipped within 2 working days. Within The Netherlands this means you will receive your items within 3 days after purchase. International shipments will take a few days more. All packages are shipped with a track and trace code which you will receive in your inbox.
Residents of Ireland: take note that The Creative Director desk lamp is shipped with a Type C plug (also called a ‘europlug’ or CEE 7/16).
Repairs & Returns
We aim for a long life for all ikitree products. If for whatever reason your item is broken, let’s get in touch to see how we can help you out. Please contact us at hello@ikitree.com
You can return your item within 30 days after receiving it, we will help you make this process run smoothly. Shipping costs for returns are paid by the customer. Please make sure to keep the original packaging. If you wish to return your item, send an email to returns@ikitree.com and we will set up the return process.
Warranty
All ikitree products carry a lifetime warranty for defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is only valid for the original buyer of the product.
Exclusions for this warranty:
Normal wear and tear, change in colour as a result of normal us.
Damage caused by external causes like fire, water, wrong use/installation or maintenance of the product.
Damage as a result of an impact. Porcelain is a strong material but can break if subject to impact. Handle with care.
Change in colour of the brass parts due to natural corrosion over time.
